Q: What is included in my planner?
Every Practical Paper planner is custom designed to your specifications!
Our petite planners include monthly spreads, plus a few notes pages at the beginning and end of each month. In addition, you'll receive planner pages in the style that you select. All petite planners include either a very thick, very durable frost plastic cover OR a heavy-duty gloss laminated cover (your choice!). At the beginning of your planner, you'll find a 24-month year-at-a-glance spread. Petite planners can be bound with our high-strength, brushed aluminum spiral coil, punched to accommodate discs (discs not included), or left unpunched.
Our luxe planners come with a very thick, very durable frost plastic cover OR a heavy-duty gloss laminated cover (your choice!) and a tear-proof, double-sided pocket to store your extra notes and papers. Luxe planners can be bound with our high-strength, brushed aluminum spiral coil, punched to accommodate discs (discs not included), or left unpunched.. Regardless of the style and format you choose, your planner includes a colorful, laminated tab for each month, plus a two-page month-at-a-glance spread in each tab and a few notes pages at the beginning and end of each month. At the beginning of your planner, you'll find a 24-month year-at-a-glance spread.
Q: Will my planner include monthly spreads?
Every Practical Paper planner, both luxe and petite, includes a two page monthly spread for every month. Please note, the monthly style planners only include the monthly view, and do not include any weekly or daily pages. Please order a weekly or daily style if you prefer to have more than just the monthly view.
Q: What kind of binding do you use?
Practical Paper planners and notebooks can be bound with our high-strength, brushed aluminum spiral coil, punched to accommodate discs (discs not included), or left unpunched.. Spiral bound planners and notebooks use the thickest, most durable, metal spiral coil available on the market today! Stationery notepads are glued along the top edge with our exclusive, clean-tearing compound that keeps your pages looking perfect!
Q: What size are the planners and notebooks?
Luxe planners are 7.5"x9" with 7"x9" interior pages. Luxe planners are just under one inch thick.
Petite planners are available in two sizes: 7.5"x9" with 7"x9" interior pages or 8.5”x11” with 8.5”x11” pages. Petite planners are just under one half inch thick.
Notebooks are available in three sizes: small - 8.5" x 5.5", medium - 7.5" x 9", and large - 8.5" x 11".
Q: Can I upload my own image for the cover?
Yes! Simply select the "Design Your Cover" option for your order. (Click here for notebooks, here for petite planners, and here for luxe planners.) Then, after you've completed your purchase, you'll be taken to an upload screen where you can send us your image. We recommend files that are at least 1MB in size. If you aren't sure if your file will work, go ahead and upload it! We'll contact you if there will be any issues using your image. *Please note* we can only print images you own...if you found the image online, or it was taken by someone else, we are unable to use it due to copyright laws.
Q: Are the tabs laminated?
Yes! Our tabs are edge laminated so they are durable and pretty!
Q: Can I select the start month for my planner?
Yes! Part of the customization process allows you to select the start month for your planner.
Q: Can I request a different start month from the options displayed?
Unfortunately, we are only able to offer the start dates displayed. We are a small company, and make each planner to order. We also design all the covers and develop all the interior page layouts. Because dates have to be updated manually, we offer a few start months at a time to ensure prompt production and shipping. You can subscribe to our newsletter to receive updates when new covers, dates, and designs are released! Simply enter your email into the box at the bottom of the page!
Q: How many months are included in my planner?
Weekly and Monthly planner styles include twelve months, beginning with the start month you select. Daily planners include six months, beginning with the start month you select.
Q: What is the difference between the frost overlay and gloss laminated covers?
The frost overlay covers are printed on thick cardstock. When we bind your planner, we add a thick, frosted plastic overlay on top of the cardstock to protect it. The frost overlay is a separate piece, and is not attached to the cardstock cover.
The gloss laminated covers are printed on our luxe, ultra-thick paper, then laminated within a very glossy, very heavy, laminated pocket. In order to seal the lamination, a small border of the clear laminate extends beyond the edge of the printed cover.

Q. Do you offer wholesale, print on demand, and bulk discounts?

Q: How long does it take to get my order?
We are based in Arizona, so shipping times to your location may vary. We ship using USPS Ground Advantage service. We typically ship orders within ten business days (Monday-Friday) of your order date. We work very hard to ship as quickly as possible, so you may receive your planner sooner! When we ship, you'll receive an email with tracking information so you'll know exactly where your order is!
Q: How much does the shipping cost?
Shipping for all orders within the United States is only $8.00! Yes, Hawaii and Alaska, that includes you! Orders over $50 ship free!
Q: I live outside the U.S. Can I order from you?
Unfortunately we are only able to serve U.S. and U.S. territory customers at this time. Shipping costs make it prohibitive for us to provide our products internationally.
Q: How can I check the status of my order?
You can always check your order for status updates by visiting our Order Status Lookup page. We begin working on your order the next business day after you submit it. Because each item is custom made to order, it takes a few days to design, print, cut, punch, and bind each item! Your order status will update as soon as your order is printed, and as soon as your order has been shipped, and you will receive a confirmation email with shipment tracking information. If you have further questions about your order status, please email orders@practicalpaperco.com. Be sure to include your order number in your email!
Q: How do I redeem my discount code?
Simply enter the code into the "discount" box on the checkout page! Discount codes cannot be combined.
Q: Can I combine discounts?
Only one discount code may be used per purchase.
Q: What is your return policy?
We want you to love your Practical Paper Co. purchases. If you are unsatisfied for ANY reason within thirty days of receiving your items, send a message to orders@practicalpaperco.com so we may help you determine the best solution. We will work with you to resolve the issue, provide a replacement, or refund your original costs. We accept returns and exchanges for up to 30 days from the date you received the item based on USPS tracking. Please note, if you received items from us as a gift, we must issue refunds to the gift-giver, but we would be happy to provide you with an exchange or store credit instead!
Q: Do I have to pay postage to return my order?
If we made an error, we will provide you with a pre-paid return label for your items. If you have simply changed your mind, or decided you don't want to keep what you received, we ask you to pay the postage cost on your return. Please do not ship any items COD, as they will be returned to you.
